Error correction levels
QR codes have built-in error correction so they still scan when partially damaged. L: tolerates ~7% damage — use for clean digital QR codes. M: 15% — good default. Q: 25% — for printed materials likely to get scratched. H: 30% — required when adding a logo in the centre, as the logo "damages" part of the code.

What you can encode
QR codes hold URLs, phone numbers (tel:), email (mailto:), text messages (SMSTO:), Wi-Fi credentials (WIFI:), business cards (BEGIN:VCARD), and plain text. Most QR readers automatically recognise common formats. Keep URLs short — long URLs make denser, harder-to-scan codes.
