Frequently asked
Is ANC harmful to ears?
No. ANC reduces ambient noise pressure waves — there's no ear damage risk. The inverted signal is no louder than the noise it's cancelling. Some people experience 'ear pressure' sensations with ANC; this is a perception effect from pressure equalisation, not harm.
Does ANC help with snoring?
For low-frequency rhythmic snoring, ANC helps reduce the volume. But most sleep earbuds prioritise passive isolation over active ANC because ANC requires power (battery drain overnight). Passive-isolation sleep earbuds with white noise masking are more practical for snoring situations.
